Simplistic

Today has been rich in simple pleasures. Shane's parents gave us this bag of misshapen jelly beans from the Jelly Belly factory outlet. I'm not going to lie, it's like Christmas come early. You see that one on the left? It's THREE jelly beans in one singular blob.

My teeth are coated in sugar and I can't stop eating jelly beans. It's beautiful.

Luke made me this vase and picked out this flower arrangement all by himself. Do you think he has a future as a florist? I'd love nothing more than a son who could keep me in fresh flowers all year round.

The picture next to it is my grandma's senior photo. Wasn't she beautiful?

The simplest of all, though. Two silly boys doing silly things.

Did you find simple pleasures in your day, too?

simple pleasures:

clean sheets.
an 8pm glass of wine.
freshly smoked bacon.
kids actually playing (and getting along with each other)
homemade stocking stuffers.

those are my ordinary pleasures...

Wow! You look like your Grandma! (Which is a wonderful thing! She's beautiful too!)

I love this post, Luke has mad skills. That arrangement was clearly done by a genius.

Oh my goodness I'm obsessed with Jelly Bellys, I love the pink grapefruit and pear flavors. The sour mix is another favorite.

My simple pleasures:
sleeping in with my hubby
cookies and milk
laying down and feeling the baby kicking in my belly
reading
hugs (the lasting squeeze kind)

I could go on and on :-)

I LOVE the Belly Flops!! I remember when I went there- I was in heaven. It's almost about time to go back. Why have just one jelly bean when you can have 3 at once!! Takes the work out of having to shove 3 separate ones in your mouth at once!

I love the vase and the flowers. Fresh flowers all the time just really brightens the mood. And Luke is way skilled.

My simple pleasure of the day- getting my new Sharpie highlighters I ordered at work!

This is so awesome. Those jelly beans are crazy but I'm certain that one with three in it is a sign that you should get pregnant. RIGHT NOW. Go get Shane, I'll watch the kids.

Love you and can't wait to see you.

Have you done the LAME jelly belly factory tour in Wisconsin? They sell all the mutant jelly bellys at the shop. We should take the boys and be lame one day. It's so sad it's not more cool. :-)
