If I had to choose a favorite part of our house, it would be the wall of family photos. I love all of our family shots, because they represent so much to me. I can't wait to add photos of Tommy to this wall. When I was pregnant, I would walk past these pictures and smile at the thought of adding more photos the wall.
But what I never imagined was that our newest addition would be born on the floor underneath that very wall.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the photos of Tommy at his birthplace! LOVE them! Every time I think about you, I am so amazed. I was blessed to be with Audrey at the birth of her second son, Alexander, and she was so beautiful and the experience was the highlight of my life to see this precious little guy wiggle out and into our lives... but thinking of you and Shane and Luke and Tommy and the miracle of what you did and saw and ARE... it is just perfection to me. Perfection. Your joy is the icing on the BIRTHday cake!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie pie baby. Now you'll never be able to move! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm late congratulating you because we were away, but I DID read your birth story post on my iPhone at the lakehouse and then promptly told all the other girls "oh my GOSH did you hear how Erin gave birth? You know, Erin. Beth's friend. Beth. Ishouldbefoldinglaundry. Anyway, you HAVE to hear this story..."
ReplyDeleteYou know it's a good story if it's the topic of conversation at lakehouse. We were all DULY impressed. :)
Congrats! He's beautiful. And you're wicked awesome.
