Photo Card Creations {Giveaway!}

I was recently contacted by Photo Card Creations, a company I'd previously not heard of, but now love. The timing couldn't have been better, because I was a month past Tommy's birthday party and still struggling with getting out thank you cards. In my life before kids, I was a thank you card master. Thank you cards for my wedding shower went out the day after it took place. Thank you cards for our wedding were out within two weeks of our wedding date. And lest you think I just did a generic thank you, I thanked everyone for the specific gift and wrote a personal note. I just think it's important, you know? And then I had kids and MAN, it is HARD.
I am really a huge fan of sending out photo cards, simply because grandparents usually love to display them on the fridge and it's much cheaper than buying wallet photos to send to everyone.

So of course, I chose to make thank you cards for Tommy's first birthday party, featuring a photo of him right where he was born, as well as a photo of his face post-smash cake (see below for a shot of the front of the card). The quality of the cards was wonderful and the turn around was super fast, which made me happy because I was already feeling like a slacker for not sending out thank you cards. I'm also happy that we received a lot of compliments on our pretty thank you cards and both grandparents have given them fridge space.
Photo Card Creations doesn't just sell thank you cards, though, they also specialize in holiday cards, birth announcements (they even have adoption birth announcements, which I LOVE), as well as many other types of announcements and invitations. Their designs are current (and so cute) and they're more than happy to work with you to create the perfect, special card for your needs.

Because I love to give back to my readers (that's you), I'm so pleased to share that Photo Card Creations is offering you a chance to win a $35 Coupon towards the purchase of Custom Photo Cards! They are continuously introducing new card designs and would LOVE your feedback on their cards! Just leave a comment below telling us which card style is your favorite and why you'd like to win this Giveaway. Winner will be randomly picked and posted on October 1st! Good luck!

What a cool giveaway. I like the "She's Here" birth announcment. My baby girl is currently 5 days late and I will need announcements for sure...hopefully...eventually!

Great giveaway! I'd LOVE the Circle of Fun cards as Thank You's for Almanzo's upcoming birthday. Can you believe he will be ONE in less than a month? I think I'm going to cry!

Love the "Joyful Wishes" holiday card! (yes, it isn't even October yet, and I am already thinking of holiday cards. Obsessive much? Why, yes I am!). :)

Your thank-you cards are super cute!

I love the blue footprints birth announcement (my baby boy is due 1/1/11). It's a great layout and a cute concept. I also like the red snowflake Christmas card, again because of the layout and I like that it says "happy holidays" instead of Merry Christmas. I always try and send "holiday" cards instead of Christmas ones because I have many friends of different faiths.

I like the lovely flowers thank you card. I try to always have thank you's on hand so that when I have to write that unexpected note I'm not scrambling for something cute.

I love the Circles of Fun birthday invite because Troy is turning three in November and we are having a birthday bash!

I LOVE "Celebrate" a flat designer card in the Christmas section! I have a 4 month old and this will be her 1st Christmas so I'm excited to take a cute family pic for our holiday cards. I'm embarrassed though... I usually make my christmas cards from scratch but its totally not happening this year with a little one. :o)

I really like the thank you stripes, I think, so much choice and I am so indecisive.

Alister's birthday is in a month so I would either use it for the invites, or the thank you cards or because I am so unorganized, Christmas cards.

I was just getting ready to send out invitations to Evan's 1st birthday party! I love the "Tickled Blue" invitation.
I used to be the queen of thank you notes as well until Evan was born. Whatever gifts I got after he was born, I didn't write any thank you notes and I still feel guilty about it.
I love your Thank You cards! Too cute! :)

How fun!! I love the Circles of Fun and Stripes in the birthday section. But I think I'd use it for a housewarming party or a "We've Moved" announcement for as soon a we get our new house!

The thank you card is so cute! I'd love the Square Quad Jigsaw Card - then I could use four photos, and not have to choose just one! (We'd probably use them for Christmas - or New Years, since I'm terrible about mailing things on time.)

Such a cute card & I love their other cards on their site. I really loved the Love Live Laugh Card, so simple, yet so sweet. I also love that it came up as a Christmas card, not your "typical' card.

Also, I can't believe he is over a month past his first birthday...gah!

I love so many of the holiday cards! Festive Times is probably my fav. By the way, last year on Dec. 21 I was finishing my x-mas cards in between contractions. :) They were mailed the day Elise was born.
