But my SECOND favorite moment of togetherness? When all sorts of delicious ingredients, like apples, cinnamon, sugar, and okay, Crisco (sorry, health nuts, I love me some Crisco) come together to create this beauty. I won't tell you how many apple dumplings I've eaten since Sunday, but it's safe to say that it's somewhere between three and A LOT.

(p.s. Tommy is holding a container of shave gel! He likes to drag down all of my shampoos and other bottles.)

c)i secretly have a crush on you because you like food, specifically sweets, as much as i do.
have a great day! :)
Oh, LOVE this! Mmmm want more dumplings. Also, it looked like Tommy was drinking a beer in the bath- already!?
:)
Steph
I totally agree with Steph-- I thought that was a beer, too! And- I ate all my dumplings already. (oops!) :-) And I baked 4 loaves of apple bread that I froze, took apples to work, and I still have 10 left.
Oh, and, we should do baking together more often, because we rule. :-)
I TOTALLY thought that was a beer in the bath... but hey, to each his own:-)
I'm all about those apple dumplings, they look soooo good!
Oh, and PS- to feel better about the crisco, the recipe is old enough that it was probably lard at one point.Crisco is better than lard, right??????
That second bit of togetherness - um, YUM!! I feel the sudden urge to get to know you better, perhaps you should bring one of those yummy dumplings and we should get together! ;-)
So cute! I remember taking baths with my sister as a kid. My daughter is an only child, so she misses out on that.
Awh, I love bathtub pictures! Very sweet.
aww, you chose wonderful photos for this week!
Bath time is one of my favorite "together" times, too. The boys still love it so I don't care. Plus they are still so young.
Great shot!
And um... send that dumpling over, stat!
The bath shot is cute and my kid throws every bottle in the tub as soon as he gets in too.
I was drooling over the apple dumpling. Oh my goodness that looks good.
Really? 4 a.m. Now I know where Tommy gets his need for less sleep than most.
Anyway, I love the sweet bath shot! Great capture.
Oh...bath time is the best!
I discovered you over at You Capture and wanted to tell you about The Happiness Project. It's a carnival that I host every Tuesday and all you have to do is post a photo of something that makes you happy. I am trying to take over the blogosphere with happiness.
Here is a link to last week's post if you want to check it out.

The boys look SO BIG!
The apple dumpling...oh my mouth is watering!
Bath time is so great (and so wet!!!)

All of your togetherness is just perfect. And thank you for posting the link to Julie's dumpling recipe! Hoping to make them this weekend!
Also, I now have "Happy Together" by The Turtles stuck in my head. :)
beer in the bath sounds good. =)
SO CUTE those boys!
Adorable...I love bath shots and that apple looks to die for!
Sometimes you just gotta eat some things made with Crisco. Like my Mom and Dad's homemade apple strudel.
Or these. ;)
Cute bath pic! I love when my kids are all in the tub too!
Love these shots! That apple dumpling looks divine... MMMmmmmmm....
And phew... at first I thought he was slugging down a soda (or other canned beverage) in the middle of his bath :D
Cute. I used to love giving my two baths together. It was so much easier.

I never got to have together baths with my kids and I think they would kill me for even suggesting it at this point. But it does look soo much fun!
And that dumpling.....ummmm.....
So this is a totally random question that has nothing to do with your post, but Julie told me to ask you. I need to get your e-mail :-)
I bought a bunch of baby clothes at a garage sale today and I want to wash them. I already use All Free and Clear (which I've heard is ok for baby skin) but I was curious if I can still use regular fabric softner with it? I usually use Snuggle liquid fabric softner. . . and I was hoping you could offer some advice/knowledge on this subject?
Thanks so much!
Ha...I thought Tommy was relaxing with a beer in the tub, too. I've been known to do the same.
