Fun {in and out of the sun}

This week has been so much fun--a seriously great start to summer.

Do you remember those Hi & Lois (I think?) comics where the baby would find the spot of sun on the floor and say hi to Mr. Sunbeam? Tommy did that the other day. He focused in on this patch of sun and just sat there wiggling his toes and laughing, like it was all the fun he needed.
Hi, sunshine
The next day, there wasn't any sun to be had, but we still had fun going to the park...

And watching big brother cross the bridge, wanting so much to run after him.

Oh, and did I mention the fun we had just being with each other, smiling and playing?

Oh, Erin... the bridge images are so in-the-moment and so symbolic all at the same time. Again and again you bring me back to my days of young motherhood and I love you for this. I love your boys for this. You bring me BACK across that bridge every, every day! So let's talk your schedule for Connecticut/Rhode Island!!!!... because hugging you would be an ULTIMATE 57 in 52!!!!

Missing the chubby cheeks of toddlerhood after that! My oldest moved up to youth group at church this week and my babe is 6.5. Kiss those cheeks for me! I'm mourning their loss over here!

Oh my gosh - I just love the bridge photos....I love that kind of perspective in photographs with the long bridge stretching out beyond the frame....just gorgeous.

And those boys of yours....just delicious. And I love the thought of playing with Mr. Sunbeam....so damn sweet.

Happy Summer Erin!
