I don't really have anything to say, except that I wanted to write something so you would come look at my new layout, courtesy of Beth. Isn't it fabulous? She even made me a button! And the little sarcastic asides that sound so me are actually all from Beth's brain, making her even more fabulous. Something you might not know about me and Beth is that when we go out to eat, we behave like a married couple and eat food off of each other's plates. It almost always happens. It's such a habit now that once at Panera, I ordered macaroni and cheese because I thought, "I bet Beth would like some of this." And then she ate 3/4 of my mac and cheese. Once I even let her eat my cheesecake which is a REALLY BIG DEAL for me because I don't even share desserts with Shane (at least, not without first attempting to maim him with a fork to insure that I get to eat most of the dessert).
Life is very tiring right now, in many ways, but I'm trying hard to find the silver lining in everything. In today being the halfway point of the week. Tomorrow being PAJAMA DAY. Next week being February, which means a vacation trip and Luke's birthday party and oh, A PAYCHECK, which means maybe I can buy some work clothes that fit instead of spending all day pulling up my pants.
And now I have to go get dressed for work and brave the cold, cold outside world. There's a silver lining in there... somewhere.

PS- I'm also jealous of your button. I want a button. How does Beth just CREATE a button?? I'm more impressed by that than making a baby. Eveyone over the age of 10 knows how to make a baby. I don't know very many people who know how to make buttons.

I love the layout. That's actually how I found your blog. Beth posted on twitter about finishing it up for you and I LOVE to look at layouts. Maybe one day I will break down and buy one (or at least learn to make a cute one).
