You Capture: Fall

I have a love/hate relationship with fall. I love Fall because of all the fall-ish things, like turning leaves, apple cider, crisp nights, and Halloween (I am torn between being a cave woman and a flapper--thoughts?). But I hate Fall because WINTER comes next, and I hate winter. HATE HATE HATE. If Spring followed Fall, Fall and I would be BFFs, but unfortunately, Fall is like the beginning of the end for me.

Fall to me means orange and yellow and red flowers (and yes, even though I'm wearing a tank top, it was technically fall).

I love mums because they bloom when everything else is dying, so I was incredibly excited to find a good deal on mums at the farmer's market.

I also found these flowers, but I don't know what they are called. Either way, they were 2 bouquets for $5 and look so pretty arranged in a vase and definitely seem like fall to me.

Fall also means crunching leaves at the playground and wearing new red jackets.

Finally, Fall means desserts like cobblers and crumbles filled with apples and late-harvest berries. I love desserts. This one was excellent, and I inhaled my piece even though I'd just eaten a cream puff (I may or may not have come across a bunch of cream puffs this weekend and bought all of them at once, and thus have been eating cream puffs EVERY.SINGLE.DAY, like even for breakfast)!
