The above picture pretty much sums up life lately, and not just because I'm wearing some variation of that outfit EVERY SINGLE DAY. I've done a whole lot of nothing, which has been oddly fulfilling. I have nothing to blog about because I know that everyone is waiting for the BIG NEWS, but I have no big news.
Here's what I have:
- I finished my second license renewal course on Friday, reminding myself that once again, I am not cut out to be a student due to my extreme lack of attention span. Oh, and I got yelled at for talking. In a grad course. WIN.
- I've been walking three miles a day in an attempt to get the baby out. Obviously it hasn't worked yet, but Luke and I have had fun. One day we met up with Sarah and Asher, the other two, Shane has gone with us. Yesterday a snake almost slithered across my foot, and I jumped higher than a pregnant woman should jump.
- I really need to mop the kitchen floor, but the Swiffer has no batteries in it. So if I have the baby and you come to visit, please don't judge my kitchen floor.
- I love post-baby visitors, just call first, otherwise you might see a sight you don't want to see!
- If I haven't had this baby by Friday, I really want to go see Harry Potter, but Shane won't go with me due to his insane fear of my water breaking in public. Harry Potter date, anyone?
- I'm enjoying people saying, You're due THIS THURSDAY!? when they ask, as opposed to when I was nine months pregnant with Luke, and they'd ask if I was having twins.
- I'm really so excited to give birth and meet this baby. I'll admit, I'm starting to get impatient.
- Shane has one post-baby job, which is to bring me a cold six pack of Summer Shandy after the baby is born. He's taking it so seriously that he checked with me today to make sure that I still wanted it.
- I feel like this is the most boring post EVER EVER, but I warned you!

- omg yay! i cant wait for the post baby pictures! Living vicariously through you, you know.
- OMG YAY! ;)
I suggest jumping on a trampoline to get things moving. ;o)
You don't look pregnant enough to be term.
I remember the end so clearly. My baby came on her due date. I was way bigger than you, but I was so wanting to go out, on her due date, to see people's reactions! ha!
Thinking about you!
I don't think it is boring! :) I have already ordered a Black Butte Porter for when this baby is born.
I'd so go to Harry Potter with you if I lived near ya. Praying for a safe and soon delivery!
If I lived closer, I would sooo go to Harry Potter with you. In fact I wish I did live closer because I'm not sure I have anyone to go with. :( Oh, and I saw a trailer the other day for the movie and it said the movie is actually opening on the 15th!!
Totally not a boring post! :) It made me laugh. :) Thinking of you!! :)
p.s. I've never read any Harry Potter or seen any of the movies but if I lived there I'd totally go to the movie with you! :)
I would totally see HP with you, but I think i am going to have to see it with my kids in California first. Hope you have that baby before we get back :)
i am seeing hp this weekend. if only we lived closer, i would so see it with you!! also, i wish i lived there so i could come see baby too. :( (i would totally call first, i promise!) i cannot believe that your due date it THURSDAY. already! it's so crazy.
i miss you!
love,
Anxiously Awaiting Baby News
You do not look pregnant - AT ALL - in that photo.
And your random posts are wonderful and snakes can suck it.
1) I hate you for not even looking pregnant in that picture. ;-)
2) I TOTALLY fancy a Harry Potter Date. I need flu powder so I can come see it with you. Plus, if you go into labor during Harry Potter, you make your kid a shoe-in for coolest kid ever. Me, for example, sent my mother into labor while eating a shawarma. Though shawarma is fantastic, it is no Harry Potter.
Maybe we could meet in the middle and do HP together? Oh. But then there's that whole baby-coming-when-you're-1200-miles-from-home thing that kinda puts a damper on it. Dang it.
come on baby - we're waiting! BTW - you look fantastic!
Where is your baby bump in this photo? I was hoping I didn't miss the birth news since being gone on vacation and trying to catch up on blog reading. Steph would have called me though, if there were a baby born. I can always count on her to fill me in on important things. I am so excited for you and will be thinking of you and praying for a safe, fast delivery. How exciting for Beth to be a part of this miracle....So excited for you all. Oh, and don't worry about the kitchen floor. No one comes to see your house, just the baby and of course you too.
you look wonderful! i love little, big....ALL baby bumps!!
irrational fear of water breaking in public?! hilarious...no one really would care...would they?! go see the movie....what a great story that would be. =)
when preggo w/ our 1st girl, my water broke while talking with a schizophenic patient on the psych ward of a hospital. good times.
so happy for you! enjoy your last days...hours...moments! =)
Congrats! The photo is lovely and clearly baby came when ready. With no assistance? You are amazing!
