It's no secret that I love pictures. I try to take as many photos I can, even though they may not be the best of quality. But where I fail is printing pictures. When Luke was a baby, I was so good about ordering prints of all the digital photos I took. Somewhere along the way, though, life interrupted and I fell behind, which is why I was so excited when UPrinting, an online poster printing company, offered me the opportunity to give away one 16 x 20 poster print to my readers. What I love about UPrinting is not just that they've inspired me to get back in the habit of printing those pictures, but they also strive to be green with their printing practices. All the more reason for me to get those photos I need!I've used other companies for printing before, and I have to admit that I've been frustrated to order a print without seeing a proof, only for it to come out wrong. The great thing about poster printing through Uprinting is that they do offer free file proofing, giving you the opportunity to make sure that everything is correct before you go and order 100 copies!

Seriously, I would love this. While I was traveling over the past few years, I took TONS of pictures, imagining that I would frame them all and have an amazingly decorated home when I got back the USA. This plan has been put slightly on hold by the cost of printing and framing. I have three pictures I took that I want to make poster size, one of Rome, one of a really cool Tree in California and one of Geneva.

I just took a picture of my one year old daughter wearing Chemical safety goggles (I am a high school Chemistry teacher). I would totally have that picture printed for my classroom with the caption "Be serious about safety" because her face is SO serious (and cute!)!

Oh my gosh, I have this photo I have been wanting to make into a poster print FOREVER. It's the coolest picture of my grandma riding on a parade float. I am going to try to scrounge it up and post it on my blog. You'll see-- it's AMAZING. I think it should go in Alice's room! Cool giveaway, I want to win for sure!!
