You Capture: Reflections

This week's You Capture theme was reflections, and I caught the perfect reflection on our drive home from Wisconsin.

Back in my childless days, I used to think the visor mirror existed solely for putting on lip gloss. But since Luke, I've learned that the visor mirror is excellent for checking on a should-be-napping child without accidentally engaging said child.
Almost...

And we're out!

After the second picture, I knew that I could safely turn around and watch him sleep, because I love the contented look on his sleeping face, yet it's one that I so rarely get to see any more.

And sometimes, I use that mirror, just to watch and admire, when he thinks I am not looking. Great idea!

Great idea! I can't wait til Jackson is old enough for a forward facing seat. I hate not being able to see him during a long car ride.

I do the same thing with my rearview mirror! I love watching my daughter sing to herself when she thinks noone is watching! Great shot...

Love this shot and I love my mirror to watch the kids, too. I'm certain it's going to cause an accident some day, but they are just so darn cute!

Nice job, Erin!

Great captures, Erin!!! I love them.

Because I live in the middle of nowhere and don't really need my rearview mirror (because there is NEVER anyone behind us!), I keep it tilted down so I can see BJ all the time. We have great conversations looking in that mirror!!

Aren't car mirrors solely meant for admiring beautiful babies? My car has one of those drop-down convex mirrors... and I can see all my babies at once! Love the photos!

Very cool idea! I like to just watch my kids for a while, waiting for them to notice me watching through the mirror. It's funny!

So sweet! I take waaaay too many pics of my kids while they're asleep. I think it helps me remember what sweet kiddos they are. ;) Great shots!

Aw, so sweet! I like the two pictures together. :) Just wait until #2 is riding back there too. Then you just have to turn your entire body around at stoplights, haha.

Oh, what a great photo. I use the rearview and Mekhi always catches me!
