I saw my midwife yesterday, and I am free to lift Luke and resume other "activities" (wink wink, nudge nudge). When I told her I went to the ER, she admonished me for not calling her first and told me I was being ridiculous for worrying about bothering her on a Sunday night. But she said that she completely understood my being freaked out over it. Anyway, she couldn't pick up the heartbeat because apparently I have a stupid placenta that was blocking the baby. We got another ultrasound, and the baby was trying SO HARD to show us what was in between its legs. As such, we spent a lot of time looking at the baby's feet, which Luke thought was the neatest thing EVER.
So, life is good, and I promise to talk about something other than babies SOON, because I am boring. And I know I'm SO boring!

I finally got a chance to read up on your blog. Sorry to hear about all your downs lately.
I'm glad to hear everything with your little one is alright. I guess he/she is starting early to steal all of the attention. ;)
Katie :)
P.S. Love the bump pictures, very cute! :D
Sometimes, when you are pregnant, boring is GOOD.
Did you do a maternity photo shoot with Luke? I can't wait to see those pics if you do them again.
Talk about the baby all day, all night... forever. Talk about Luke right along side. There is nothing as sweet and perfect as a mommy talking about her babies. It will be this way forever and ever...
Seriously, why in the world would you want to talk about anything else besides babies?
TALK IT UP, HOOKER.
And when in the world is your laptop going to be fixed?
I think I am going to start doing what you are doing with taking a weekly picture, but I am going to do it with Prez Obama, because I heard that a President ages 8 years during a four year term and I want to see if it is true. It probably is because most Presidents look like crap when they leave office. What this has to do with your post I don't know. But I'm glad the baby is doing well and that you are able to resume your "other" activities.
Boring? Not!!! I mean, I hope there isn't any of the bad kind of excitement to be blogged about... but seriously, your talk of babies is anything but boring. I'm glad you got a good report at your appointment. :)
I love hearing you talk about babies-- however, I'm not gonna' lie-- that floating digital baby on the margin of your blog REALLY freaks me out. :-)
Miss yoU!
Julie
Oh, you never bore us with baby bump talk. You are all baby...looks like a little girl to me. I can see pink and bows. I'm usually never right with my guesses.
